Use Of Camera

CAMERA FRAMING

The focus of how far the camera is from the subject and what angle shot is taken

CAMERA MOVEMENT
  • A panning shot where the camera moves slowly from side to side on a fixed axis

  • A tilt shot, where the camera moves up and down froma fixed axis
  • A crane shot where the camera, mounted on a crane, moves around at a distance above ground level
  • A tracking shot where the camera follows the action, moving along tracks laid for that purpose, often pulling backwards from a scene
  • A rolling shot where the camera moves diagonally, making the image askew (often used to suggest that a character is ill or drugged)
